The Vanson Speedy Box incorporates microprocessor technology and implements constant voltage, pulse-mode charging techniques. Pulse mode charging provides a faster charge than old constant current methods, extends cell life and helps to reduce the memory effect in Ni- Cd batteries. The charger includes automatic cell detection, reverse polarity detection, bad cell detection and uses negative delta cutoff (except 9V) to give maximum charge capacity to the batteries.
Each charging slot is independently monitored by the microprocessor, therefore different sized cells can be charged at the same time. The unit measures 180mm(W) x 55mm(H) x 185mm(L) and is powered by an external AC adapter (included). Suitable for AAA, AA, C, D & 9 Volt batteries.
This is one of the few chargers capable of charging the super high capacity C and D Ni-MH batteries sold on this site.
